Our purpose at Lebanon Community Fellowship Church is summarized in a single statement:

“To reach people with the life-giving message of Jesus that they might become fully devoted followers of Christ.”

This purpose is based on two primary teachings of Jesus:

1.  The Great Commandment:  “Love the Lord your God with all your heart…soul and…mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”  Matthew 22:36-40

2.  The Great Commission:  “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you:  and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:19-20

LCF church exists:

  • To worship God with sincere expression.

  • To share the good news of Jesus with others.

  • To connect with other believers with meaningful relationships.

  • To prepare disciples to fulfill their purpose.

  • To encourage leaders in their God-given destiny.

A great commitment to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission will grow a great Christian and a great church.
